SEASON FINALE

In a twisted web of confusion, LGBT characters strive to upkeep intimate relationships, while facing adversity and trying to combat inequality in the 'swing state' of North Carolina.

Taylor

Raleigh, NC

My name is Morgan E. My character Taylor is completely opposite as me; she is self-centered, impatient and loves attention, while I am laid back, reserved, and loving of others. I am definitely stepping out of my comfort as her.

Cristina

Greensboro, NC

My name is Teyona and I play the very dramatic Cristina on Swing State. I am a 20 year old college student from Greensboro, North Carolina with the desire of becoming a public figure to inspire women. I have always wanted to give acting a try so I am very grateful and appreciative to be working with Chasing Pride Films. I am excited to see what the future holds with myself and the company.

Brooklyn, NY

My name is Monna and it is pronounced (Mo-Nay). I am a customer service representative, I am a Taurus, and a multi-talented tall Goddess. My character "Vanessa" and I have similar personalities because we are both outspoken and real. I am straight-forward and never afraid to voice my opinion. I love my character!

Winston-Salem, North Carolina

My name is Jackson A. Vines, better known as AMET Ricky. I am a 19 year old recording artist and actor from Winston-Salem, NC. Unlike my character Mel, my transition from female to male was not as smooth. I did not have the same type of support that he had.

City, State

I am 28 years old and I serve as a Budget Analyst in the U.S. Army. I am referred to as Santina, but I am different from my character because I am very outgoing and energetic. My character is more of a calm and laid back individual who has the world already thought out.

Bianca

Charlotte, NC

My name is Courtney Orr. I play Bianca aka B. I am different from my character in many ways. Bianca is very aggressive and dominate and I am very laid back and soft spoken. I have enjoyed stepping out of my comfort zone to explore B.

Dom

City, State

My name is Candis Edwards, I am 26 years old and I work as a call representative. I can be goofy or a jerk, but it depends on the vibe I pick up off of people. I am different from my character because I do not care what people think about me, I am my own person and I am not naive as she is.

Amber

Queens, NY

My name is Anny Jules and I am a Queens, NY native who has been performing since the tender age of 5. I act, write, and sing professionally. I have appeared in numerous

television commercials that include Post Cereal, Honey Nut Cheerios, General Electric, Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, and McDonald. I have also appeared as a special guest in ABC Soap Opera & All My Children and have

done voiceover work for Nickelodeon television show, “Blue Clues"; and Scholastic “I Spy” Junior.

Perhaps my biggest performing accolade thus far would be landing the role of Young Nala in Disney's the Lion King on Broadway at the age of 10. Yankees baseball superstar, Derek Jeter invited me to sing at his Turn 2 Foundation

banquet after he watched my performance in The Lion King.

Following my Broadway debut, I went on to perform in George C. Wolf's off-Broadway musical, “Radiant Baby"; at the Public Theater which later landed me a nomination and win for the Audelco Awards; "Rising Star” honor for excellence in Black Theater. Soon after, I made my way to film, appearing in “Preaching to the Choir” directed by Charles Randolph Wright. I am similar to my character Amber in many ways. We are both kind spirits

and very nurturing. We both harbor a quiet confidence.
